Beauty drinks for skin – which make you look young and fresh.
The following drinks are great for your health as well as your skin.
They help me stay healthy, maintain a great skin as well as having a nice tea ritual which is great to relax.
I list the drinks which I drink daily or the last drink which will boost your immune system.
My 6 beauty drinks for skin
#1 GREEN TEA
Green tea is a very healthy drink.
It has lots of antioxidants in it and increases your metabolic rate.
It can also lower the risk of an infection and is good for your dental health.
Some studies even shown that you might live longer when drinking green tea.
A great detoxifying tea.
I always start my day with a green tea.
I love it!
#2 HERBAL TEA
Drinking a warm cup of herbal tea in the evening calms me and makes me ready for bed.
There is a huge variety of herbal teas.
I love tea with stinging nettle (cleans your blood), fennel & anise (good for your digestion), root of the liquorice (natural sweetness), camomille, or just herbs from the garden.
Just find a tea you like and then let the detoxifying effect happen.
#3 HOT GINGER
Drinking hot ginger or even just ginger as a juice is great.
It is high in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which is awesome for your skin and your health!
Some other things ginger can is to lower menstruation pain and pain in total.
For my immune system I love to drink ginger in hot water and add a bit of honey.
Here comes my #4 of my beauty drinks for skin
#4 WARM LEMON
Great for your digestion in the morning.
A warm glass of water with lemon is one thing I do almost every morning on an empty stomach.
This enhances my digestion and increases my metabolic rate for a great start into my day.
#5 GOLDEN MILK
Fill 1 cup with unsweetened, warm oat milk (or any milk of your choice), add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 slice of ginger, 1 teaspoon of raw honey, ¼ teaspoon whole black peppercorns and mix it with a spoon.
Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatories properties.
Besides having lots antioxidants turmeric also increases the antioxidant capacity of your body.
That’s a double win 😊
For the honey, make sure that the drink is around 40°/104Fahrenheit so you won’t loose the great ingredients of the honey.
Also honey is high in antioxidants, so that is for the inside of your body.
But also for the outside it helps to heal wounds and burns quicker.
Now that’s a hell of a beauty drink, especially for cold days. YUMMYYY!!
#6 IMMUNE BOOSTER SHOT
When I notice that I might get a cold I drink this drink.
It’s not the tastiest, but it works!
Who heals is right 😉
So use a small glass and add
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder,
- juice of half a lemon,
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar,
- 1 small chopped slice of ginger,
