My 10 best beauty tips for skin
I’m working quite long in the fashion industry.
Because I wear a lot of makeup I like to treat my skin naturally.
As my skin condition is crucial for my job as a model, I collected the things I do for my skin here in my “Best beauty tips for skin”.
They are all very simple and easy to follow.
So let’s dive into my skin care hacks:
My top 10 best beauty tips for skin:
#1 Clean your face in the morning
To wake up I clean & refresh my face in the morning with ice cold water.
The coldness tightens up the skin in your face and your mind gets awake too 😉.
#2 Use ice cubes for a fresh look
For this tips you can either use chamomile tea or simple, clean water.
Brew a strong chamomile tea (1 teabag for 1 cup) for 10 minutes.
Let it cool down and pour into ice tray and freeze them.
Once frozen move all over your face.
I like to give my face an ice cube massage.
So I start under my eyes, move over my cheeks and fore head.
Then finish at my jawline.
If you don’t have time for the ice cubes, just spray thermal water over your face and let it dry.
#3 Apply rose water on your face
After washing your face, spray rose water (I love this one from Primavera) to moisturize your skin.
I also love rose water spray on the go.
It’s a great refreshment, you can apply it on top of your makeup and it smells like heaven <3
The great smell will boost your mood and gives you a comfy, sexy feeling.
#4 Remove your makeup at night!!!
This is my most important beauty trick!
I use coconut oil on a cotton pad then apply a bit of water on it and remove the makeup on my whole face.
Then I wash my face first with warm and then with cold water.
Afterwards you will have a moisturized and clean face without any chemical or irritating ingredients.
#5 Give skin a break from makeup.
Yes I love to wear makeup and I enjoy getting my makeup done.
But when I’m not on a job I also love to be without makeup.
Then I give my skin a chance to breath and the pores are not clogged.
This will lead to a clear skin with small pores.

#6 Getting enough sleep.
Sleeping as much as you need is important.
You will have a way better mood and this effects your skin and face expressions 😉
And in total your skin looks fresher and you don’t need too much makeup to cover up anything, which is great for your skin, too.
#7 Drink plenty of water.
This is one of the beauty tips you are for sure already tired of hearing.
Everybody tells you drinking a lot of water is great.
Guess what, they do so because this trick is just… TRUE ;D!
In the past I hated drinking so much water, I was not used to it at all.
But as I had migranes and a changing work -> Modeling.
I realized how important it is to drink water.
Plus I feel way more awake and clear in my head when I drank enough.
Also your skin is filled with water and has a great texture and also all the toxins get easier out of your body, which results in a beautiful skin as well.
Of course the amount of water depends on your activity level.
To sum up drinking a lot of water is key for a soft and beautiful skin
#8 Eating almost no sugar.
Nooooo!!!
She said it.
Sugar ain’t that good for your skin.
Sugar is a cause that your collagen decreases which is responsible to maintain a young, fresh skin for a longer time.
Also not to mention the inflammation sugar can cause. (e.g. breakouts etc.)
Cutting out sugar is crucial for a beautiful healthy, glowing skin + you may look way younger.
As I have a big sweet tooth I can’t live without sweet food.
So easy eating fruits and dried fruits, and at the moment I enjoy my treat day where I eat anything.
So my way is 80 – 20.
80% of my food is very healthy:
lots of vegetables, protein, carbs and fat.
Everything as natural and unprocessed as possible.
The best is to cook it by yourself.
So you always know what’s inside.
20% is anything else, like sweets.
#9 Antioxidant food.
I love berries, beetroots and very dark chocolate (with 80-90% cacao).
Antioxidants protect your cells from free radicals (that come from pollution/ radiation).
It’s good for your heart health and boosts your immune system.
#10 Relax
Skin issues like acne or worry wrinkles are caused by stress.
Prevent this and make your skin and mind healthy by meditating, exercising and sleeping.
You will feel amazing and calm.
When we are stressed we use expressions which cause “unhappy” wrinkles and our whole system gets out the balance.
Your skin will have a more even skin tone, less wrinkles and breakouts if you take time to relax and breath.
