Full body beauty tips – homemade
My body is my capital and so it is yours.
No seriously whether you are working as a model or not, your body is your home and your temple.
You gotta take good care of it, to stay healthy and so be able to live a joyful life.
Also the appearance and self care is very important.
When you are well-tended, you may feel better in your skin.
So let’s get into my full body beauty tips.
#1 Dry body brushing
For your lymphatic system – Brush your body with a dry body brush, always towards your heart.
Start at your right foot in an upward facing movement over your leg then do the same on the left leg.
Then move upwards on your arms from hand to shoulder.
Treat your stomach anticlockwise and afterwards your back in an upwards facing movement.
That is a great detox method and encourages your lymphatic system to outflow toxins from your body.
#2 Glowing skin body scrub
While I’m in the shower I sometimes use this body scrub.
2 tbsp. olive oil or coconut oil + 1 tbsp sugar.
Mix it well and then scrub your wet body to get rid of dead skin cells and it will make your skin soft.
Don’t use this scrub in your face, it is too aggressive for the sensitive skin.
I mostly use it for my legs.
#3 Washing my body only with natural soap.
For washing my body I only use a nice olive oil soap.
There are only organic, nice ingredients in it and it’s less waste than using a body shampoo from a bottle.
#4 Showering cold
To boost my immune system and to increase my comfortlevel of cold, I shower quite cold for 30 seconds at the end of each shower.
This also increases your blood circulation and detoxifies your body.
Haha and you won’t be sleepy anymore!!! Trust me 😉
(ok in the winter I only do 10 seconds 😉 )
As my motto is: you don’t have to be perfect, just give it a try and you will find out if it is for you, or not.
#5 “Self-made” body lotion
Ok, not really self-made 😉
But almost.
You can use pure coconut oil as a body lotion on your wet skin.
One ingredient, great results.
And of course let it sit, and maybe remove oil that didn’t went into your skin.
I like to do it overnight, then I won’t ruin any clothing.
#6 Working out
A toned healthy body, as well as a good circulation and higher energy level in your whole body is very important to feel sexy and happy in your skin.
I love to do yoga, Ballet Beautiful, P.Volve and to go for a walk (as it is the most natural movement + you get fresh air & oxigen!).
Now some nutritional facts which are also part of my full body beauty tips.
#7 Hot lemon
In the morning I drink a warm glass of lemon water.
This enhances my digestion and increases my metabolic rate for a great start into my day.
#8 Green tea
A great detoxifying tea.
#9 I drink lots of water
Depending on your activity level drinking a lot of water is key for a soft and beautiful skin.
It will help you remove all the toxins in your body and keeps you awake and clear in your mind.
#10 Eating lots of veggies and wholesome food
You get all the minerals, vitamins and nutrients you need by eating lots of veggies, proteins, wholesome carbs and healthy fats.
And an awesome well defined body.
